Meet the Maker: Erin Grove Preserves

Meet the Maker | Pantry, Sauces & Bakes

At Gourmet Grocer, we love products that feel genuinely local. The kind of food that has a story, a place, and a maker behind it. Erin Grove Preserves is a perfect example.

Based on a family farm in the heart of the Fermanagh Lakelands, Erin Grove Preserves has been creating handmade artisan jams, chutneys, marmalades and cheese accompaniments since 2001. Founded by Jayne Paget, the business began with a love of traditional jam making, passed down from her grandmother and brought to life through small-batch production.

Back to the Good Stuff

Erin Grove Preserves is built around a simple idea: bringing back the traditional homemade flavours that are often missing from over-processed foods.

Their preserves are made using time-honoured methods, cooked in small batches to help protect the natural flavour, colour and character of the fruit. It is the kind of process that takes patience, skill and care — very much like making jam on the kitchen stove, just as it would have been done generations ago.

The result is a range that feels familiar, comforting and full of flavour.

Jams, Chutneys, Marmalades and More

The Erin Grove range includes preserves, chutneys, marmalades, jellies, curds and fruits for cheese. Their flavours bring together classic favourites and more creative combinations, from Victoria plum preserve and Irish whiskey marmalade to sweet chilli jam and mango chutney with chilli and lime.

It is a collection made for everyday enjoyment, but with enough character to make any breakfast, cheeseboard or hamper feel that little bit more special.

Spread their preserves on warm toast, add a spoonful to fresh scones, serve a chutney alongside local cheese, or use one of their fruit accompaniments to lift a simple sharing board. These are jars made to be opened, shared and enjoyed properly.
